Pre & Post Care
Microblading aftercare implies cleaning your brows, protecting them from contamination, and taking care of the skin in the area in a way prescribed by your microblading artist, following a special schedule.

Microblading/Powder Brows/Combo Brows
-
-Do not tweeze/wax one week before the procedure
-Do not have any type of facial two weeks prior to the procedure
-Do not work out the day of the procedure
-Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior to the procedure
24 hours prior:
-Do not drink alcohol
-Do not consume caffeine
-Do not take an Aspirin or Ibuprofen (Tylenol is Okay)
-
Immediately After Appointment: Treatment area will feel sensitive. Any redness and swelling will subside within a few hours, do not apply ice or touch the brow.
For One Week:
-Do not expose brows to water.
-Avoid Sun Exposure and Tanning
-Avoid applying Makeup to the treated area.
-Avoid Exercising, sweat can affect the pigment and impact healed results.
-Do not touch brows unless applying after-care and avoid picking or peeling.
-
Day 1-3: Brows will get dark and dry. They will still look fresh from your appointment; it usually just looks like you are wearing brow makeup.
Day 3-7: Brows will begin to scab and fall off. Brows may begin to itch or appear patchy. Do not pick or pull off the dandruff but rather allow it to fall naturally. Picking can pull out pigment and effect healing. The peeling period might take a few days to a week depending on skin and service done. Continue to follow after-care instructions until the scabs have entirely fallen off.
Day 7-10: Scabs should be off (or close to falling off). The color will soften and lighten. It may appear that most or all the color has faded, this is normal. The color will slowly come back over the six-week period.
The full healing process typically takes 6 weeks. Please note this process can be different for everyone depending on post-care and skin type.
